Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Commitment to Privacy

At TraderPond, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, encrypt, process, and protect information submitted by Vendors, Capital Providers, and Principal Buyers on our platform in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other applicable regulations.

2. Information We Collect

To provide secured receivables-financing services, we collect several categories of personal and business information, including:

  • Identity Information: Full name, email address, telephone numbers, and government-issued identifier metrics including Bank Verification Number (BVN) and National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Biometric Data: Multi-snapshot facial liveness images captured during onboarding check constraints.
  • Business Records: Corporate details including CAC certificates, director details, purchase orders, supply contracts, and invoice documents.
  • Financial Details: Designated virtual NUBAN accounts issued via Sterling Bank Plc, bank transaction narration strings, and payout balances.

3. Data Encryption & Storage

Identity metrics (such as BVN and NIN) are encrypted at rest using AES-256 security algorithms before hitting the PostgreSQL database layer. All data transmissions are protected using TLS 1.3 encryption protocols. Administrative error logs strictly omit sensitive PII fields.

4. How We Share Data

TraderPond is a workflow engine. We share information with integration partners solely to run required checks:

  • Sterling Bank Plc: To issue dedicated virtual accounts and process payment splits/sweeps.
  • Dojah API: To validate corporate status and verify KYC and liveness checkpoints.
  • Termii: To distribute secure verification OTP codes via SMS or Email channels.

5. Your Rights

You retain the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. However, compliance policies and transaction record keeping require us to retain certain transaction records for historical audit logging. For requests or support, contact us at support@traderpond.com.
